Frequently Asked Questions

Isn't therapy just for people with mental illness? Do I need to be diagnosed with something to benefit from therapy?

What is your fee?

My fee is $140 for a 50-minute session online session with individuals, $175 for  relationship (marriage, couples, other relationships) session.

I am also able to provide reduced fees on a sliding scale in a limited basis. I understand that therapy can be cost-prohibitive to some people, but I don’t want that to prevent you from receiving the quality care and support you need. During a consultation we can discuss where you are at financially and where you might fall on my sliding scale to make it more affordable for you.

Do you take insurance?

I take some forms of insurance; see my Psychology Today profile for details. For out-of-network insurance billing, I am able to provide you with a monthly statement, or “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance. However, you will be responsible for contacting your insurance provider to determine if you can be reimbursed.
